Day 1 Drive to Khoton & Khurgan lake
Begin your journey from Ölgii toward the breathtaking Khoton and Khurgan Lakes (approx. 170 km). Along the way, enjoy scenic photo stops as you pass through dramatic mountain valleys, rivers, and open steppe landscapes.
Upon arrival, experience authentic nomadic hospitality with a local Kazakh family. Learn about their daily lifestyle, traditions, and culture in this remote and untouched region.

Day 2: Visit to Baga Turgen waterfall and drive to Tavan Bogd national park
After a traditional breakfast, begin the day with a short horseback riding experience. Following a brief riding introduction, ride approximately 12 km with a local guide to the beautiful Baga Turgen Waterfall, surrounded by forested valleys and snow-capped peaks.
After visiting the waterfall, continue by vehicle toward the northern region of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. The landscape changes dramatically along the way, offering high mountain passes and sweeping panoramic views. Stop at the “White River,” known for its milky, glacier-fed waters, before reaching the park’s northern ranger station.

Day 3: Drive to Base camp discover holy five peaks and glaciers
After breakfast, drive approximately 18 km to a sacred ovoo, an important spiritual site where locals perform offerings. From here, enjoy stunning views of the Altai Tavan Bogd’s “Holy Five Peaks” and the Potanin Glacier—the largest glacier in Mongolia.
For a closer experience, take an optional 3.5 km hike toward the glacier for incredible views and photography opportunities.
Return to camp in the afternoon and relax in the peaceful mountain environment.

Day 4: Visit to Eagle hunter family and drive back to Ulgii
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Ölgii. Along the way, stop to explore ancient petroglyphs dating back 3,000–4,000 years, offering insight into the region’s early human history.
Continue driving (approx. 140 km) and visit a local Kazakh eagle hunter family. Learn about this unique tradition and enjoy the rare opportunity to hold a trained golden eagle.
Arrive in Ölgii in the late afternoon and transfer to your accommodation or airport.
