
Payment Terms
We require a $500 USD deposit to hold your place on a trip. Your deposit is refundable (less a $100 service fee) until you have received and read the information packet. You have one week from receipt of the packet to contact us with concerns and to cancel. If you cancel within one week of receiving the packet, you receive your deposit less the service fee. A week after receiving the information packet your deposit becomes non-refundable. The final balance is due 60 days prior to departure. Cancellation more than 60 days prior to departure receives a 50% refund of the balance due (less deposit). Cancellations within 60 days of departure receive no refund. We recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance.
CANCELLATIONS
At the time we receive written notice of cancellation of your trip, the following fees will apply for each person:
More than 90 days before your tour departure date - $250.
30-90 Days - 50% of the land cost.
0-29 Days - 100% of the land cost.
Cancellation terms may differ on customized itineraries.
Trip Cancellation Insurance: It is your responsibility to ensure that you are healthy enough to participate in our trips. Once Tautravels LLC has confirmed your place on a trip, cancellation fees will apply if you cancel your trip for ANY reason even for medical issues.
AIRFARE
Our payment, cancellation and postponement policies do not apply to air travel arranged through Tautravels. Full payment for air travel is usually due the day after we make your reservation. Cancellation and change policies are different for each airline we use.
GUARANTEED DEPARTURES
We have many scheduled departures throughout the year. All of our departures are guaranteed even if there is only 1 traveler. This means that we will NEVER cancel a tour due to low sign up.
